Expectations !!!!

Human nature....
If I was to study this subject and give exams for the same....am sure I would have either flunked or just managed to score the passing marks ;-)...
At times I feel its one of the most complicated things on EARTH ;-) ;-) ;-) .......
Literally many of its innumerable facets have been either misunderstood or not at all understood by me ;-) ;-) ;-)
Although I am sure I have not witnessed rest of the long list yet  :-) ;-)
A general observation says - the different emotions projected by the people around us , leave an impact on us,does it not ?
Well, I highly agree with that.Be it happy ,dull , enraged, sad ,excited , negative or positive.....the environmental effect is definitely visible on us too....
And that is what the human nature is....... :-) ;-) Varies from person to person and its "Opaquely Crystal Clear "....great irony...aint it ??? ;-)
Now switching back to the title of my blog , of the different human traits , "Expectation".....the eleven lettered word is one of the commonest trait found in living beings.
At times its called the silent demon of our Lives... ;-)...
Have you ever observed that seldom , knowingly or unknowingly...we keep on expecting something or the other from in and around our surroundings...don't we ??
Be it our family , friends,relatives ,employers,our maids and for instance even from an acquaintance !Be it anyone.....our expectation list always stands tall like a pillar ;-) .
Also , last but the least...the spiritual ones' who believe in GOD...have huge expectations from HIM too :-)  ;-)...
In the next level , when a certain Expectation is not fulfilled,things around seem dull and it hurts us terribly....
I am sure you must have experienced it  ;-) ;-) ;-)
Phew.......Expectation - it certainly is the evil head of all....
As often when a expectation is not fulfilled , it gives rise to its harmful child traits like anger,sadness,dullness and a gloomy atmosphere is all around !
But in its actual sense its is not the culprit.....its again the human nature that makes it so ;-)
Because , if taken in right terms........we realize that when one expects something from us....its because of the bond that he / she shares with us .
Parents have certain expectations from their children which when not fulfilled turns out upsetting them.
On similar lines ,the children too expect and when criticized and negated a certain expectation ,the situation turns sour...
Well ,I guess its only the level of Expectations that make or break a situation.....in a limit all works well but when crossed the level.......devastation can occur ....and that's the general philosophy...which stands right everywhere....
So to conclude...all I can say is...instead of expecting from others,why not we take up the charge and expect things from ourselves ,which includes fulfilling the expectations of our loved ones' thus avoiding the dull situations so that the child culprits of Exception are not born at all ... :-) ;-) !!!!

Emotions , Relations ,Feelings , Surroundings ,Happenings , Believes ,Values and Principles make up a person :-)...
There is a phrase in Bhagwat Gita.which says "Everyone is Forced to act helplessly according to the qualities he has acquired from the modes of material nature "....when read for the first time,these words appeared blank to me....The second thought on it...gave it a very beautiful meaning...and it indeed made me realise that every human around acquires his nature from the surroundings in which he is :-) ;-)....and most of the times....the surroundings are developed by the person himself.....!
Yesterday I was damn bored sitting at home and doing nothing....was in one of my low mood swings.....and that is when my cell beeped....
Wassup ?...Sheela aka Mbt's message....
Nothing yaar...just bored of the boredom...... is what I replied...
And the next moment my phone ringed...."Sheela Calling" which instantly brought smile to my gloomy face :-)
 She started with her bak bak....and then suddenly  narrated a phrase from the book 'Eat , Love ,Pray '....I dont remember the exact words...but the gist was quite similar to the above mentioned lines.
Little was it required for me to tell her about my mood swing....rather I dint mention it ....but she instantly understood and gave me the boost I needed...
The twenty minute talk made me realise my own words  "Its ALL in that 1 THOUGHT :-) ;-) !!!! "
The thoughts that you think...make you up...so why think the unnecessary ,useless things ?
Highs and lows...Ups and Downs...are part of everyone's Life....
But if we just keep crying over the negative aspects.....we will definitely miss the opportunity to think of solutions to overcome the negativity...
And that's what I realised after the talk....that I was simply stretching a small negative thought a lot ...where in instead of doing so...I could think of solutions and again be what I have always been..... :-) ;-)
The conversation ended by Mbt's command ...:P...yeah..you read it right...she commanded me to write a blog on the question she asked me .. "Agar Ctrl C ,Ctrl V nahi hota toh teri life mein usska kya effect hota ?"
Well....I gave her verbally some of the weirdest ,stupidest answers... but the purpose that she had in mind...seems to be solved ;-)....now thats what I call freindship... :-)
And yes....Here's the blog completely dedicated to you Mbt ;-) ....also agar Ctrl C .....Ctrl V nahi hota toh  there would have been a single button on the keyword which would have copied and pasted directly :P :P :P
I don't know how much of this is gonna be understood by anyone...but the concerned one must have got it ;-)

Gravity .... very important in LIFE ;-) !

Firstly ,its not a scientific blog ;-)
To start with, the other day I was reading a book where in this term was very well illustrated .
It actually had such great punch in it that I decided to pen it down ;-) ;-) ;-)

Gravity , the natural phenomenon...no one has ever had any control over it .
Be it INDIA ,AMERICA or any part of the world...the force acts in a similar manner everywhere.
Have you ever heard any one complain " It all happened because of the Gravitational force...else I wouldn't have fallen and broken my leg ;-) ? "
Or " This bag is so heavy ,  stupid gravity...couldn't it apply a little less force on it :P ?" ;-)

I am sure you must have not and no one will ever make any such irrational comment.
This is because we can't control gravity.
Rather we adjust ourselves in these situations and make optimum use of it......in direct,indirect ,conscious and unconscious ways ;-)

For example , different sports like...Tennis,Cricket,Football etc...all are played so well because of gravity ;-) and we literally enjoy them...


Contrasting to the above case, when it comes to situations where we have control but the situation is not in our favor ,we start complaining.
Also when we have people around us who give us a nodding head by listening and agreeing to all our complains.. we aggravate the situation,worsen it and end up complaining more ;-) ....dont we at times ? ..
Well, my point is,we always complain about the easy, manageable things but  never about the ABSTRACT ,UNCONTROLLABLE  things in our life.
As we use the great Gravity , if we start being one with all the difficult situations that we face and instead of complaining, bragging and making a mess all around ,if start managing them too..... Life will be much more simpler :-) ;-)....wont it be ????

Uma,she loves it when u address her as mau ;)---the naughty kiddo of the gang,a trek freak,shez the youngest amongst us yet stands with a dual degree 2day...now triple...rite ? :P!!!

Farha,Fa--an engg...oppss sorry...a Doctor ;-)..well jokes apart....a great Doc ,the secret observer,the sleeping beauty :P,a cricket fan,an expert in making fake movie names in Dumb-Charade(the game)..... :) !!!

Sheela,MBT--the witty prankster......comes up with funny incidents everytime.
Bluffs something and then when we ponders on it she says.."Maine Bola aur Tumne maan liye" with a giggle followed...that's how she got the nick name ;)

Sneha,SG--the miss sophisticated ;),the bio ace....no one can beat her in biology....her knowledge is at par!!!

Well,each one of us is unique in her own special way......but there's something highly common within that binds us so strongly (is it the science stream btw ? ;-) :P :-))!!!
Though Life's very different now,each busy with her own professional life but it aint hindering our friendship.
Those occasional calls,and making it a point to call at midnight on birthday ;),having great conferences ;),
petty fight at times ;),teasing each other,in short a perfect blend of all emotions :-)
"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."!!!!
And my this world indeed completes me.....though distant by location n time we stay together in our Hearts...bonded by the greatest relations of all  " FRIENDSHIP"  :-) ;-) !!!!

The New Guy

He was introduced to me by my younger brother last December .
Me and my mom were always reluctant to meet him....due to some preconceived odd notions about him.
But my brother...with his tactics convinced my mom and finally she agreed to bring him home.
Well I ain't budge from my view , still I kept quite as I couldn't go against everyone's will !

It was 5th December when I met him first.
Everyone at home knew how reluctant I was to see him and that's the reason nobody intimated me about his arrival.
I was unaware that this surprise waited for me when I reached home from class.
When I entered the room , I saw him sitting besides my mom.
All had a imagined that I would make faces and freak out with rage when I see him.
But to everyone and my own surprise,my first encounter with him was a fantastic one.
His first sight itself made me fall in love with him.
I couldn't stop myself from adoring him.
His innocent face captivated me totally.
The lustrous white colour and the cute nose.......oh I felt like instantly grabbing him a giving him a huge hug.
At that very moment he opened his eyes from the small basket in which he was sleeping and waved his beautiful long tail out ,which came as a welcome sign to pick him up.
O yes...I forgot to say...this New Guy....is our pet....my puppy 'Droofus'  :)....
I never had any hatred for dogs and puppies but somehow I dint have a tendency to play with them.
I was always against my brother will to bring home a pet dog coz' the filth that spreads in the house after getting a pet was my concern.
But from the moment I saw him......all my concerns vanished:P ;).........and in moments we bonded so well as if we have been friends since ages :) :) :)
I had seen pictures of this breed ,Golden retriever, but never saw it in real.
But this little puppy proved me wrong against my notions.
In no time we two became inseparable :) 
And that's the biggest change the innocent creature brought in me ! 
He has been the cutest and smartest puppy I have ever met.
From that day till date,he has become an integral part of my life.
He instantly adapted with us and his name,it seems like he knows us since ages.
.
My bond with Droofus has grown so strong that now I cant imagine my life without him.We live in a new world of our own .
From dawn till dusk his playful,happy nature has given me a new vigour to live life.
The way he welcomes us when we return back home makes us feel more loved.
Now I can boldly say that one of the best things that happened to me last year was Droofus :) !
Love you tons ..the New Guy (Droofus )for just being in my Life :) :) :) !!!!
